  • General tour

    The general public is welcome to visit the center freely. The center offers occasional guided tours, with times announced on-site. Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, and visitors can sign up for the tours on-site. If the number of visitors exceeds the capacity during the same time period, the museum may implement entry and exit controls to maintain the quality of the visit.

  • Large Group Tour

    Group Tour This service offers group reservations for guided tours, with a capacity of 20 to 80 people per session (daily group limits apply, and reservations should be made online). Each group will receive a guided tour lasting approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, and may also enjoy free access to other exhibits and facilities within the center. If the number of people in a given time slot exceeds 80, please make separate reservations for different time slots on the same day. Groups without prior reservations may be subject to entry and exit controls based on the museum's capacity, in order to maintain the quality of the visit.   • VR disaster prevention experience vehicle promotion

    Eligibility:
    This service is available for reservations by government agencies and schools within the county and groups of 20 to 35 participants for same-day experiences. Before making a reservation, please confirm that the selected location and route have sufficient space to accommodate the VR disaster prevention experience vehicle (minimum space required: height 4.2 meters, width 5 meters, length 14 meters, and floor capable of bearing 26 tons). Each session must last at least 1 hour, and there must be at least 20 participants. Reservations should be made at least 14 days prior to the desired session date to facilitate arrangement of the event. For any inquiries, please contact the Hualien County Fire Department Disaster Prevention Section at (03) 846-2119, ext. 4407. *Note: After submitting the application, staff from the Hualien County Fire Department will contact you to confirm the details of the event. The event will be scheduled only after all related matters are confirmed. Additionally, this VR disaster prevention experience reservation is separate from group reservations for the Disaster Education Center. If you also wish to visit the Disaster Education Center, please submit a separate application for group tours under the "Guided Tours" category on this website.

  • Due to the quality of the experience, the center will limit the number of people entering in the event of a large crowd. Please follow the instructions of the staff to line up to enter.
  • The center uses mobile phone QRcode as trainee ID for a full interactive experience. In order to reduce queuing time, the public can register as a member of the center in advance and download the QRcode on the phone.
  • Smoking and eating are prohibited in the center. Spitting, chewing betel nut or chewing gum is strictly prohibited. Dangerous items and pets are not allowed (except guide dogs and search and rescue dogs).
  • Most of the experience projects in this center requires physical interactions. Thus, please avoid wearing slippers, roller shoes, and high heels when entering. Skateboards and bicycles are also not allowed.
  • Handbags, backpacks, large luggage, etc. can be placed in the lockers on the ground floor. Please take your valuable belongings with you. The center is not responsible for their safekeeping. The center may implement necessary security checks. The lockers have keys, please keep them properly. Strollers should be stored at the service desk at the lobby.
  • The open areas are limited to the exhibition areas on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Disaster Prevention Education Center. If other areas are specially opened, please refer to the announcement of the center.
  • Making loud noises, chasing and playing, littering and other behaviors that affect others are prohibited in the center; the center will not be responsible for any injuries or deaths caused by this.
  • Photography and video recording in the center may not be used for commercial purposes. The center reserves the right of legal recourse. When shooting, do not affect safe routes and the rights of others to visit.
  • If anyone maliciously damages or steals items or facilities from the exhibition area, the center may take legal action.
  • The center may persuade, stop, refuse admission, or order anyone to leave if the person is determined by the center to impede the safety and order of the exhibition area.
  • Groups are strictly prohibited from conducting self-guided tours without permission to maintain the peace of the exhibition venue and the accuracy of explanations.
